Based on this week, I hope Wagner geniunely makes it

I will give credit for his performance this week by proving critics wrong with his singing of Creep. I actually thought it was not going to work and surprised he pulled it off.

To be fair to him, Wagner went up there showed something that we have never seen and what haters/critics wanted to see to prove their point of attacking him, but you know what, he really did pull off the singing.

Based on another bad week on X Factor and the rubbish that is this year (media drama, public attacks, balant manipulation, fixing it, lies from contestants, etc), I hope he makes it through. This week and the weeks before, contestants should be improving and showing us why they deserve to win. I have not seen any of that from any contestants and still out-of-tune / off key. No one is stepping up and just using the media as a vehicle to push for votes rather than concentrating on the performances.

It really feels like this year is about entertainment / soap-opera and so if that is what it is, then Wagner should stay.

He definitely does not deserve to go home this week at least, but it feels like Simon & Co. is making sure he doesn't make it through.

All the best to him anyway. He is geniunely a nice guy and acted in this competition with class by not attacking other contestants or judges and just getting on with his performances.

I would find it quite ironic, if the first week he actually does a reasonable performance he goes home.

Yea. That's probably what's going to happen

I agree, he's a nice guy and has a good heart.
We also have to remember some basic things here...

1. He made it through the initial selections
2. He made it through the live auditions
3. He made it through bootcamp
4. He made it onto the live shows

No-one would be there if they couldnt actually sing. However, he's being given joke material most of the time by Louis. If they gave him some weightier songs, like creep, then we see he can actually sing. This is the irony of the situation.
I'd like to see him try some opera/Lloyd-Webber type songs...I think this would really be his forte and he could really set his stall as an artist. As I said before, if he gets through this week Louis may actually treat him very seriously and we see a complete change of musical strategy next week.

But he has to get through today first!

He did a great job with Creep. I was really proud of him!

He did do well, but I thought it was mean to give him words like 'I'm a creep, I'm a weirdo, what am I doing here?'. Then for Dannii to say 'You really connected with the lyrics'

And for that reason alone he deserves to go through.

I did. I actually broke my vow never to vote on XF.
