I cry for Wagner and his son
Tears stream down my face every time I picture Wagner in the singoff, singing his heart out even though he knows it's all over. I don't know what makes me more sad: the fact that his efforts are pointless in the face of the judges' hatred, or the fact that he knows the dream is over, and his son (not being allowed to spend time with Wagner) will no longer be able to see his Daddy on TV every Saturday.
This is about so much more than a singing contest. This is one man's life, his battle to spend quality time with his son, and an army of Cheryls and Simons that struggle to see him as a human being with emotions, let alone one who belongs on that stage. It's so sad. I mean, just look at his son: http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2010/...82_468x304.jpg "Never underestimate the power of a few committed people to change the world. All you non believers: his son is called Cassius Iesus and the little W is going to be 4 on December 28th! I think of voting as buying little Cassius a birthday present!

Poor Wagner, I hope he earns enough to fight for access.

Iesus, really?
And some people still refuse to believe. I don't know why the link mentions Cher, it isn't a wind up! http://www.facebook.com/cherlloydmus...72360146108479 |

Seriousy - what are you Wagner fans going to do to support him once the X factor is over? How long is the novelty factor of an ageing Brazilian who can't sing going to last? I can't see him getting much work on the back of this show TBH, not even the holiday camp circuit. Sorry to be negative but I just can't see him sustaining a career in showbusiness.
Seriously - I imagine that Wagner will do just fine without your concern. He doesn't seem to have particularly high expectations, and he could easily make a good living out of corporate appearances, etc. He wants to be in showbusiness and he wants to make enough to see his son; if The X-Factor can help him achieve that, I think that's just as admirable as any of the other contestants' 'lifelong dreams'. |

I personally will continue to support Wagner. What are the fans of the other acts going to do once X-Factor is over? Why single out Wags?

He's refused access to his children because he's likely a horrible and irresponsible man.

Oh, yeah, sorry - I have seen the photo, I just meant that Iesus is the Latin form of Jesus, isn't it? Which is another sign pointing towards Wagner's godly status.
I love Cassius too, it's Mohammed Ali's borth name. Wag junior is a little fighter just like Wag senior! |

Oh, okay. Did you ask all the Joe fans this last year, or all the Leon fans in series four? Because neither of them have done particularly well post-XF, either.

Very well said Anactoria.

But the difference between those two and Wagner is they can actually sing so have half a chance of getting work. Nothing wrong with having a dream and I wish him luck, but maybe he should try doing something he's good at? |

Leon and Joe are both still working in the business and I wasn't a Joe supporter but I bought leon's album and will buy his next album if he releases one. Joe, I have no doubt will get work in musical theatre as he is that type of singer, as have many other X factor contestants over the years.
