Just watched last night's X Factor and noticed that Cheryl was waving at Cher after her 2nd performance - when Dermot was talking to her.

Anyone else see this? What was the reason??

it was right before she interrupted Dermot to say that everyone should vote for Cher.

I think she realised she'd not been on camera for 15 seconds and took decisive action to correct it
