Has anyone copied over a programme to their PC (it arrives as a file with a .ts extension) and successfully edited it? If so, which editing programme(s) did you use? I just can't find a way of doing it that keeps the audio and video in synch.

Thanks for any advice given.

I use VideoReDo TVSuite to remove adverts and trim the beginning and end but I think I'm correct in saying the Foxsat .ts file is not a standard .ts file and I have to use m2tstots to convert it first before VideoReDo will let me edit it.

Videoredo will open foxsat files if you download the latest versions or tick ignore transport stream maps in the settings

I use Videoredo to edit .ts files from the Foxsat HDR.

The latest version 4 will edit unencrypted HD files from BBC1 HD, BBC HD and ITV1 HD (using the reset method to record unencryted files).

By that, do you mean switching to non-Freesat mode, rebooting and then recording while in non-Freesat mode?

As regards VideoReDo, I've just tried it. Brilliant, brilliant program! Many thanks for suggesting it, zetor and graham.

Yes - enter non-freesat and reboot.
