Am I right in thinking that the celebs will be dancing two dances? Here are what each ot them have got left to dance:

Ann: American Smooth, Vienesse Waltz, Argentine Tango Jive and Cha Cha

Gavin: Foxtrot, Vienesse Waltz, Argentine Tango, Charleston and Samba.

Kara: Waltz, Vienese Waltz, Tango, Rumba and Samba

Matt: Waltz, Tango, Jive, Salsa and Paso Doble

Pamela: Argentine Tango, Quickstep, Vienesse Waltz, Paso Doble and Samba

Scott: Foxtrot, Argentine Tango, Cha Cha, Charleston and Paso Doble

I am not at all convinced its 2 dances as the show is shorter next week than this week so dont think they could fit in 12 dances. So I would say its just the one each.

It's a bit suspect, isn't it?

If it is only one dance this week, they can hardly expect the couples to learn the remaining four for the semi-final?!

Which leaves the possibilities that either they'll be doing new dances in the final, or they won't be performing all the dances (neither of which I approve of)...

I understand from a source that the couples left will not all be doing all the disciplines.

And I think its only 1 dance this week... plus maybe a groupd dance maybe?

Pamela has VW I think. She said in a newspaper article that she wanted to stay in to dance a romantice VW on her 61st birthday

That's good news for Gavin and Pamela - and Scott (the one dance bit).

Maybe Ann will get a Jive, but I suspect that will be avoided. If she did get it, I doubt that it would be recognisable - like just about every dance she has done.

I really, really hope that if Kara doesn't get to do all the dances () we at least get to see her do the rumba and the tango. I think for her other dance I'd be happy if she got either the waltz or VW but I really, really want her to get to do the rumba and tango Wouldn't be gutted if she missed the samba.

Exactly - it won't really matter what dance Ann gets - she'll make a mockery of it in her usual manner.

Good news for Gavin and Pamela. If footygirl's analysis is correct (and I think it is), the only way Widdy leaves next week is if Gavin gets right up the leader-board, and the foxtrot should suit him. I hope Kara gets something she can really get her teeth into (so to speak) - a rumba or tango would be good.

I want to see Kara do the rumba too - it's my fave dance.

Wish Patsy could have had the chance to do it too.

The rumba is probably my least favourite dance - except when it's danced by somebody who knows what they're doing, like James and Ola tonight. But I think Kara and Artem could do a great job with it. Let's keep all our fingers crossed!

I think it's almost a certainty that Kara will have a waltz of some description seeing as she's done neither of them yet! To do her first waltz in the semi-final would be a bit strange when there are 2 in the list of dances...

I have no idea what music would fit with what dance but I would like to see Kara dressed as Audrey Hepburn doing a waltz to I could have danced all night from My Fair Lady.

I think it'd be odd to have Movie Week without an American Smooth, given how aggressively they've tied the idea of it to "Old Holdwood Glamour". Given that Ann's had a few latins in a row and she hasn't been "ZOMG I AM GOING TO BE DOING SOME SHIT IN TWO WEEKS TIME I CAN TELL YOU!" of late, that'd be my guess for her. I'm probably putting more thought into it than the show it must be said.

In that case she will probably be out. When the comedy ceases I'm sure people will stop voting for her. Unless, like John Sargeant did, she does something which turns out to be delightfully beautiful.

So Kara, Scott and Matt must be doing latin- as they usually make it an even split

Matt is not confirmed as the waltz - Aliona hasn't tweeted at all. I'd actually guess he'd have a Latin tbh, Ann is due a ballroom...
