Are we looking at the same thing i.e the week 10 list? As far as I can see, there's 3 latin dances (Samba, Paso, Cha Cha) and 3 ballroom dances (AS, VW, Foxtrot) on it.

Oops. Sorry. It's late - I should get some sleep . Still think it's probably crap though.

No worries. You had me worried for a second though that I didn't know my dance styles

It could well be a lot of rubbish. I was just curious about the fact they seem to be correct about Pamela's and Gavin's dances.

People just go on and make it up half the time. Someone mucked up all the tables last week by moving Kara to the top of each one, for no reason - I had to go in and edit them all back!

If you can edit the page, could you type in "the same old cr*p" next to AW?

As it's movie week I bet Kara has the Rumba. Nothing like a good movie romance!

OK I picked that up from another dances for week 10 thread which is now on page 2........just took it as gospel.......I suppose she might have replied to someone and not in the 'general' timeline. I would be suprised if he had AS followed by the Waltz but who knows frankly.

Yeah I though it was a bit strange, so I went onto her twitter page, not even my own timeline, and she hadn't tweeted since the results show. She's not one to give away what dance they're doing anyway, which is also why I thought it was a bit weird!

Which leaves the possibilities that either they'll be doing new dances in the final, or they won't be performing all the dances (neither of which I approve of)...”

Its got to be the latter I'd have thought. I can't see them learning three new dances for the final for starters. Plus its traditional for them to repeat their favourite/best dance of the series if only to ensure one high quality performance.

Unfortunately one of the drawbacks of reducing the number of weeks the shows on for means the couples might not complete the full list of dances.

The shows on for 12 weeks (it was 14 last year) and there are 14 different dances (plus the show dance). There used to be 13 but last year with the extra couples they had the week with the Charleston and Rock 'n' Roll (and the Lindy Hop in the final). With the Charleston being so successful it was inevitable it stayed this year.

What about Matt and Aliona doing a jive to say "Greased Lightening" from the film Grease

That would go down a treat

The original Wiki page had the list as follows:

Ann - AS
Gavin - Foxtrot
Kara - Samba
Matt - Paso
Pamela - VW
Scott - Cha Cha Cha

They're right on 3/6 so far.

If The Times is correct and she's dancing as Dorothy next week (I'm hoping they were confused by that filler nonsense in the results show), that means the AS to Over the Rainbow. Oh well, I suppose they can resurrect the moon thing from the search for Dorothy earlier this year and haul Ann up into the rafters. We can but hope...

I hope Kara does the Samba/Rumba. I think she'll excel at these! Kara to win!
