That was very odd - poor Rebecca having her as a mentor

i agree, no matter how much they push her , some people just wont like her, she has not got that "likability" factor like Rebecca has and Matt(to me anyway) , but she does have fans, though i dont like Cheryl either and i noticed like others she did not that happy when Rebecca got through, i dont understand it??

Cherl and Cher are cut from the same cloth - both hard-faced, both slowly starting to become hate figures as well. Cheryl's no longer the nations "Swede Tart".

Just shows the X Factor audience are mainly clueless yobs with no class.

Cher has massive potential and will be a big success, whether or not she wins the show. Simon, the producers, and other people in the business can see the potential - its a shame some viewers and the audience don't care and insist on criticising her because of neagtive press, and the presumably the fact that she sometimes comes accross as over desperate to win.

What's being 17 got to do with it?

Pretty sure 17 year olds couldn't have carried Mary to the semi-final. (Both voting-wise and physically.)

Did anyone notice Chers face when Konnie was talking to Rebecca when was saying you should be humble and not be arrogant? She was pulling a right face.

Cher hasn't been too popular... if look back a few weeks ago in the results on Youtube, during the 2 weeks before she was in the bottom 2 last week, when her name was called, she got tiny bit of boos when her name was called... tonight she received quite a lot of boos.

I think she is going next week, she was only safe this week because she had the rebound vote/

Is her family in the audience? It really wouldn't surpise me if they were the ones booing all the other acts. Quite nice that the tables were turned this week and the chav got booed!

I thought I read in the paper that the booing in general was done by Katie's friend and family? Might be wrong though.
Anyway I don't like Cher and want her out next week but I was surprised to hear her get booed, not sure why she was booed.

Can anyone explain to me why she was being booed tonight though? She hasn't been on previous shows so why tonight?

I think it was because of how poor she was yesterday and that she shouldn't be through. No need to boo about it though.

Thought it was a reaction from comments she made on the show yearetday and today. She way too cocky but at the end of the day she's just a kid.
