I wasn't going to bother with this thread tonight as I switched off during his performance - not the TV but my mind.

It's a nay from me this week.

Really didn't like the song, although his live singing was alright.

A nay from me.

Definite nay from me. And from my friend who was watching with me. Her idea of hell = James Blunt and naked light bulbs...

Finally realised who Blunt sounds like.

Donald Duck. Apologies to Donald.

I thought he sounded somewhat like Katie from X Factor!

Nay. What a dirge. I did like him when his first album came out though ...

James Blunt tonight - yay or nay?

I do like James Blunt, but there was something not quite right tonight, maybe it was the sound.

No, I have always found him totally devoid of charisma and very boring, and his song tonight just lacking any spark

I am happy to say that I have never heard Katie from X Factor, and it seems that that may be a very good thing!!!

Quite agree. That guy cannot sing for toffee; never could.

When I saw the title of this thread, my first thought was 'James who?', as I, too, switched off mentally when he came on. Well, I did the washing-up, which amounts to the same thing. So I don't know if it was an aye or a nay.

Not gr8, but certainly a yay!
I know I'm in the minority here but Jim's alright by me. Saw him live in concert a few years ago and I'm still here alive and well to tell about it

I found his performance to be a bit lack lustre and stiff.

Therefore, I give it 9 out of 10.

Nay.

Not much of a performance and the song didn't seem to have a hook.

He can sing but he's too high pitched and too whiny for me. I couldn't sit through a concert or even an album of his songs

Nay. I wanted Alice Cooper to come on and bite his head off.
