The nightmare has ended on x factor, don't know when it's going to end on strictly. I guess it does give us some hope about the great british public that they may vote for the best dancer now. "starts praying"

I'm worried that now they can't spend money on voting for Wagner any more, they'll bung even more votes her way...

Possibly in two weeks' time if the judges put Scott and Matt third and fourth. Henson to go next week.

Poor Wagner, his dulcet voice hushed.

As for Ann, I don't think it's anywhere near over yet. I think she can muster more votes than Gavin, Pamela and Scott and could well put them out. She might even poll enough to beat Kara. If she gets to the final with Matt...who knows?

I don't watch the X Factor any more but I did notice this week that there were quite a few negative stories in the press about Wagner, that must have had an impact. Ann also gets a great deal of media coverage however it's pretty much all positive.

Strangely though when you read the papers online like for example The Mail, whilst the story itself is always sycophantic about her 'hilarious' routines and the crowd 'loving it' the reader comments are usually negative. So it's difficult to see where the majority of her support is coming from.

I never thought I'd say this but apparently the X Factor voters have a better sense of fairness and judgement than the Strictly voters

An inner source has revealed in another post that the top voter favourite week after week is Matt, with Ann coming in the next 2 over or under Scott, and then it's very close between Kara, Pamela and Gavin.

So more votes are needed for Kara. and for Scott in order to push Ann down to the bottom two, where she should be with Gavin next week.

But if the joke vote continues, we'll see Pamela and Gavin in the bottom two, unless more viewers start voting for the good dancers. I thought Ann's arrogant remarks on the VTs would have told against her, but her voting fans probably lack perception.

Well, the Mirror is never going to put a nice political spin on a Tory, are they? Trouble is this article is about politics, not about dancing, and although I personally can't separate the woman from her political views, it appears a lot of people can - or the alternative scenario is that they agree with her, in which case her supporting Lord Young is no biggie.

I don't normally watch X Factor, but I gather that the support for Wagner has been more of an anti-Cowell vote than a pro-Wagner vote, much as with the RATM campaign last Christmas. People have no real reason to vent their spleen against Auntie Beeb or Strictly itself, so the pro-Ann votes are likely to be just that.

I remain confident that sanity will prevail and that Ann will not reach the final. Erm, I hope...

It's ridiculous people are voting for her and Patsy having to go.

They need to stop asking joke people to dance. It's spoiling an otherwise great show.

Oh come on everyone get over yourself, this is an entertainment show where the winners just use it as a career lift. If it was a true dancing contest we would have real amateurs like the good old days 'Come dancing' with Angela Rippon. BBC decided against that route and 'sexed up the show' with with celebrities so and we are left with the lowest common denominator with the public vote able to easily secure the vote for Ann. Think back to John Sargeant being called a dancing pig. If he hadn't quit, he would have gone further for sure, even though I doubt he would have won.

Personally I am voting for Ann just to go against the grain and because that pouty miserable looking judge looks like hes always got constipation and could never say a happy thing for her. She gives us a laugh and thats what we all need.

My Issue with Ann is she dosent even Try. I wouldnt mind a jokey dancer if they put a little bit of effort in and at least try to dance a bit. Not just stand around posturing at Anton.
