She was dignified and happy for the others. Not a fan of her but well done to her!

I agree, but I am sure others will comment on how fake and insincere she seemed...

Of course she was : I've never believed any of the media bile about her...she seems a nice girl.

Mary says she felt extremely close to her.

I think she was prepared after the battering she's had for the past few weeks.

I'd rather the Weasel stayed than Cher.

I got the impression she knew she was going, did someone tweet her the leaks?

It was only a matter of time that she tried 'gracious' katie.

Time for JSA Katie now though.

yeah, i think she was very sweet. i think it was her time to go though, and she knew it, but i don't understand why anyone would be happy to see her go. i never got the hate for her at all.

I expected her to be carried off to the priory in an ambulance, but that did not happen. I was surprised how gracious she was in defeat.

I don't think she would have ever been not-gracious; she's a drama queen, and I've made fun of her as much as anybody, but she doesn't seem malicious in any way. (and Matt seems to have way more entitlement issues than she does.)

I agree with you. I didn't like Katie, and I thought it was the right thing for her to go, but I thought she was a good loser, and I never expected her not to be. Good luck to her.

Katie was very gracious. I don't think she was served very well by the whole X Factor publicity machine and she could have been very bitter, but she actually came across very well tonight.

I thought she was very humble and extremely gracious in defeat tonight. She has certainly had to put up with alot of crap from the press, but she didn't whine or complain. I would have preferred her to stay over Cher to be honest.

Unlike most acts kept in until this week in the competition to irritate by outlasting other acts in spite of being unlikeable and sub-average vocally, I think Katie actually realized what was going on.

I really felt bad for her, because it must hav been awful to think she had a chance only to discover she was X-Factor's 'Rachel Hilton' for this season.(Kept in to irrit

Nothing wrong with Katie except that she displays a kind of desperation for fame that is unattractive.

She is obviously delight to have this opportunity ,so no wonder she was gracious. She know's she owes Simon a million favours.the Xfactor has exploited her rotten imo for rating and publicity

She has a good voice for slow bluesy songs, good luck to her.
