Now Wagner's gone, can Ann be far behind?

With the GBP finally realising that the Teutonic Twit is actually less talented than a walrus (despite the resemblance), is it now time for a grasp of reality in SCD? A joke is a joke, fair enough, but the continuing presence on the show of Ann Widdecombe-Unfair is making the producers of the show look silly, and is causing some bad feeling, I have no doubt, in those far superior dancers like Jimi and Patsy. I know if I were in their shoes (not a great idea as I dance slightly better than Long John Silver) I would feel mightily peed off that the right wing left foot and barrage balloon that is AW sails along at their expense, not even getting in the bottom two.

Are you suggesting that the composer of Tannhäuser is (a) a Twit, or (b) so desperate that he would go on X Factor?

Richard Wagner was not generally liked, so would never have got beyond an early round in X Factor; but a 'twit' he certainly wasn't. (Go look at Bayreuth)
Got himself a royal ludicrous twit as a patron, though. Good move.

All the peeps that voted for Wagner might decide to vote for the dancing equivalant!

I thought he was Brazilian?

It probably helped that The X Factor had a double eviction plus a judges' vote.

The other possibility is that X Factor viewers are more discerning that Strictly ones...

He may well be, but I was going on the name Wagner...

Still sings like an orang utan with laryngitis.

this was the first thing i texted to my hubby when i discovered wagner out - but we also may need a double eviction to do it...

As the couples left get fewer, there is a bigger chance that even if Ann's in the top two or three in terms of votes she could still end up going home. Of course the leaderboard would have to go a certain way too, but the semi finals could end up being her last hurrah. However, it would have to be a combination of factors that would need to happen.

I thought people would stop voting Anne because she is so overconfident about the public vote and doesn't care at all that the other dancers are working so hard to learn their routines. Her smugness hasn't stopped people voting and I'm shocked at this.
