"Justin Bieber has reportedly begun to lose his voice to puberty.

According to the News of the World, Bieber has started working with a specialist in order to keep his voice from breaking."

I can think of one way...

He mimes all the time, so it's not like his voice is going to get all squeaky and crack in the middle of a performance.

Why would he want to prevent his voice breaking? It's better to get it out the way, surely?

Then again, they're probably shit scared that any sort of break will kill his popularity. The girls will move on like they did from the Jonas Brothers.

I saw his performance on the X Factor, and I was surprised to see him miming. I don't know why, maybe because there is so much hype surrounding him.

What age is he? Surely his voice would have broken in some shape or form by now any way?

Maybe once it breaks he may have a decent voice.

Seems silly trying to prevent it - is that even possible? It certainly won't sound any worse

It did sound like his voice was breaking last night so miming could of been down to that and not want to damage his vocal chords as this stage. But then its pretty stupid of his mangerment to stick him on a world tour when his voice is breaking. When your voice starts to change you should have a complete break from singing. Its common sense.

He will be miming a lot for the time being until he has his voice sorted out. He won't want to be performing in public until it has settled down

He said on Alan Carr earlier this year that his voice is just starting to break ... he's 16.

Late developer or what?

He's lucky he's not in school anymore!

It really disappoints me that someone with such average talent is so famous, whereas much, much better and way more credible artists are suffering in terms of popularity and sales... WORLD HAS GONE MAD.

I don't think there's a boy in my year who hadn't broken his voice by the time he was 14.

And a few of them got a hard time for it!

Imagine what Justin would go through.

Well, I still don't like him.

Too be honest it depends on the kids . I had some friends who was in a boy choir and they didnt want there voices to break early as they all loved being treble singers and nobody mocked them at my school as people grow at different rates .

I didnt know the boy but i can remember 1 boy in the choir was 16 before his voice broke . The friends i knew they was about 14 or 15 when there"s broke but your voice can break from about 12/16 so it just depends on the boy.

Singers voices apparently can often take longer to break.

Even if Beiber's balls drop & it messes up his voice, they'll just re-invent him with loads of auto-tune. He's too much of a cash cow to let go.

Men don't produce semen until their voice breaks. That's why its called the balls drop. If a lad of nearly 17 still hasn't dropped his balls then he should be off to the doctors. imho.

His voice not breaking by now just adds to the fact that he is a female.
