I'm not convinced that either of them should be in the final two. There are four very good couples left, of which they're only two. There's every chance the final two slebs will be the same gender (Kara and Widdy could do a turn, maybe?)
Would they have time to learn another dance?!
Whoever reaches the final will already have three dances to learn, their final ballroom and latin plus a show dance, which the third place couple are usually still asked to perform so they have not wasted the training time before voting opens between the final two for the winner.
All that should fill two shows on finals night without needing anymore as they will also have all the celebs not to reach the final back for one last twirl around the dance floor.

I think they would have great difficulty dancing together! You have to remember the celebs are only learning routines which is not the same as learning to dance "properly".
Think of it this way: you could teach someone to read a sentence in a foreign language, and they would be able to do it quite competently. But they would only know that particular sentence, they wouldn't be able to carry out a conversation.

I don't know about Matt and Kara dancing together (although I don't have any objection to it) but I would love to see some of the celebrities dance with some of the other pros.
If Matt, Kara, Scott and Ann were left I'd love it if:
Matt; danced ballroom with an elegantly dressed Natalie because I've always though they'd be a good match and that Aliona was a bit too full on for him.
Scott; assuming that he's got his energy back he and Aliona could probably do a pretty good latin, and I bet she'd get those hips moving.
Kara; could to a beautiful ballroom dance with a surely deserving and probably suitably grateful Anton.

Oh, so would I, but I don't think she'd do it.
They have made so many concessions for her alone this year that it's ridiculous. It would be my fail-safe master plan for getting rid of her.
They could do a group dance and swap partners for a bit perhaps, that would work.
As an aside- it occurs to me that the very likely possibility that each couple will miss some dances this time is a safety feature to ensure that, even if Ann and Anton reach the final, we won't have to see them do an Argentine Tango.

That's nothing - last year's finalists did 4, in series 5 they had 5 dances. Frankly if they only have to dance 3 times they're getting off lightly.
The contestants used to do a group dance during the competition - I'm sure in the year of Jill, Denise, Colin etc. they did a VW.
