Mezze/ Meze ideas
I don't know how to spell iot sorry.
I'm thinking of doing a mezze for friends coming voer for dinner tomorrow night, do you think this will be enough to stuff everyone? And what ideas have you got please? I have warmed pittas, hummus, falafel, bruschetta, cheese dipper items, fried halloumi in chilli and garlic, mozarella and tomatoes. Probably chips/ wedges. |

If any one are meateaters you can try kofte - yum!!
Also you can buy / make Dolmades. A block of feta, with oregano and big slice of beef tomato on top is delish cooked in the oven for a while... Olives of course. I love Kasir (it's basically Bulgar wheat in a spicey tomato sauce with diced onion, pepper and chilli - I am sure you can find the proper recipe online) You've made me start to drool now

The best one I have made is from Nadia Swahalas book the recipe is below. http://www.whatsontv.co.uk/food/cele...ron-rice/20235 |

Roasted aubergines make a good dip with some chopped up onion and diced tomatoes to make melitzanosalata. |

I'm sorry Mirabelle
![]() I have no inspiration either today, and I seriously don't want to go to the shops in the snow! How about a pasta dish with homemade garlic dough balls? You can use posh ingredients, but you dont need much with pasta so it should be cheaper. Was gonna suggest a mexican bean chilli as its really cheap to make and lovely in this weather, but if its for tonight you wont have time to soak the beans. |

It's not even snow thats a problem, its like a centimetre here, its my stinking attitude. |
