Cowell may have won a battle, but he hasn't won the war! From now on Ill be placing a vote or more for every other act than One Dire-Erection up to the final show.

Have at you!

every vote you place makes Simon that little bit richer (and happier). He doesn't care who wins, he cares that you watch the show as the more people that do, the bigger the ratings and the more he earns from ITV. If you want to make a stand, don't watch

From the start, Simon and TPTB have championed a Cher/Wand Erection/Matt/Rebecca final. Only way to upset the Tesco Shopping trolley is to vote for Mary- the last remaining also ran.

You are right - saddle SC with a poor man's Subo and see what he can do with that particular sow's ear.

It's okay, I'll just vote extra hard for One Direction.

I must admit, you seem to be very spiteful. What have One Direction honestly done wrong? To place a vote for every other act because you won't to eff off Simon is a bit rude to 5 young lads who have been working hard.

In the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter who wins as far as Cowell is concerned. Especially now that Wagner is out. He will sign up whoever he wants to anyway. I suppose he would prefer it if OD did win but it matters not really. As long as the people keep voting then that's all he's concerned about.

Oh dear, seems to me other than Katie not making it, SC got what he wanted, sadly not what I wanted as Wagtail winning would have suited me down to the ground. Wonder if he was lower in votes than Mary, why do I doubt that!

Sorry I will not vote for Mary, should she win SC will be dropping her like a ton of bricks in a years time or sooner, and I think that would destroy the lady.

I am not sure who should win anymore, as the show for me is a total sham.

And how exactly is opening and closing your mouth out of time to the backing track classified as "working hard" omg

I'm voting for Matt because I like him best.
Think that's the way it works isn't it? Call me old fashioned but it's my money.

Oh dear. Look, let's agree to disagree. You think they mime, I do not. Savan said they work the hardest and spend a lot of time practicising vocals. They have shown they can sing either on YouTube, on the Singing Lessons on the Homepage or in their auditions.

As for the mad face, I don't really get that.

3 of them can sing im not saying they cant, so why do they not (always) sing live on the saturday show if they've worked so hard? I have nothing against boybands either, it's just unfair on the acts who clearly do sing "live" every week. Whatever people think of Wagner he most definately didnt have any help in the vocal department, he just sang (badly mostly) but at least you knew it was his voice that was coming out of your speakers. smiley face better? lol

Yes I think I agree with a lot of what you say. I feel reall bad for Louis in particular (Sea Urchin).

As for your name, I must say that I love it!

Oh FFS, do you think he really cares who you vote for? It would be nice for him for 1D to be first so he can gloat but other than that he's a winner all the way anyway. Why do you think Dermot said the voting was very close on Sunday's show? So guilible viewers would get their fingers working on their phone pads.

It is over. Whether or not 1D make the final, they'll be successful and Simon won't care that much. There seems to be genuine fear that Wagner would do well, so they pulled out all of the stops and it failed. It's pointless voting now, for anyact, and in future it's pointless voting for any novelty act and it just ensures the continuation of the most humiliating part of the show (putting someone not particularly talented through, than telling them week on week that they are crap).

These anti-XF protests are getting weaker and desperate. All this talk of 'troops', it's a reality TV show for crying out loud.

Any protest that equates to voting for ANY act in the competition is totally futile and counter productive.

see the way x factor gets thoughts into peoples brains? a lot of mentions of working hard were made last week for various acts. some idiots believe it!

its not hard work. its singing (or miming), its their hobby. an insult to people who really do hard work and in jobs they don't love.

Actually, I'm not an idiot, thank you very much. As for working hard, I never denied it was their hobby I simply sad that they worked hard on their songs, therefore singing, therefore doing what they love which equals a hobby!

I'm going on what Savan said, what Brian said and what has been shown to me. X Factor doesn't influence me, I take what I see and apply it to what I think already, giving people the benefit of the doubt. I never actually noticed them being plugged as working hard.

Finally, people who work hard at a job they don't love, IMO, don't make any sense. I understand making a living etc. but if you don't love it, I think it's time to apply what you know, search around and live life as best as you can, even if it means choosing a different job. I know that in this economic climate.... etc (I'm not a kid) but as my father often told me 'a job should be something you love and something that pays well.' IMO though.
