Fabulous news in the Daily Express today Ann Widdecombe will be recreating Judy Garland's famous role of Dorothy from the 1939 classic The Wizard of Oz. I really can't wait, this is going to win Ann a mass of new fans, what a brilliant idea, well done again Anton.

Indeed, Jan. The same story was in The Times today and I think the journo made the same mistake. I read the link to that Express article (although please don't tell my friends I went anywhere near that dreadful rag) and it also said:

"Ex-EastEnders actress Kara Tointon, 27, will re-enact the role made famous by Jennifer Beals in the 1983 hit Flashdance.

"And rugby ace Gavin Henson, 28, and EastEnders star Scott Maslen, 39, will tease fans in a hilarious strip *routine from 1997 British comedy The Full Monty."

Well, this journo has clearly never watched the show if she thinks that Scott will be partnering Gavin in a strip-tease.

Come on lets get a life and suggest that Ann won't win as she isn't good enough to win. Would make a complete farce if she did.

Why do you never respond to other posters when they suggest your facts may be wrong, but merely repeat yourself?

She would be the star of the show if she was on Celebrity Big Brother or something equally talentless. On Strictly, she's an embarrassment

Funny how people keep saying she's got loads of fans yet no-one I meet who watches Strictly can stand the sight of her

Because he knows he's wrong. He's a troll, just looking for a reaction. I'd wager he's never seen an episode of Strictly in his life lol.

People who vote for Ann are completely nuts if you are asking me mate, absolute stupidity. This power needs to be broken once and for all.

It will end, don't worry. Either she'll get kicked out and we'll all rejoice or she'll win and Strictly will be no more. It would almost be worth it so I would never have to suffer her champion's dance *shudder*

Someone should cement the BoD under the foundations of the bl**dy yellow brick road and give us all some peace.

This thread shouldn't have been started in the first place mate, it has encouraged stupidity beyond belief.

The voting viewers are entitled to vote for their favourite dancers for whatever reasons they decide. There must be a very large number of viewers voting for Ann otherwise she would not still be in the show, and its clear therefore that a very large number of viewers must enjoy watching her dance and why shouldn't they, Their freedom of choice to vote for their favourite deserves the respect you seem to wish to deny them. The Widdy from Oz Ann and Anton are preparing for Saturday's show is bound to be a huge hit and win them even more fans.

Hey, people are allowed to vote for the BNP too but nothing will ever stop me from thinking they're morons.

Well they did have one thing in common last week - they were both crap.

Wrong on many counts, the large majority of voters just want to have a laugh and p*ss off the judges. I doubt if they have any real fans, just folks who want to ridicule them, bit like the old freak shows in the circus, and why not, SCD has become a major w*ankfest, and has little or nothing to do with dahnce dahling anymore, so more power to them.

I don't mind the pomposity so much as that he never, ever, addresses a post that seeks to correct his fictions and establish a few inconvenient facts. Who would have thought a troll could be so tedious?
