Alesha has settled in and feeling comfortable as a so called 'judge'.

She has now stopped copying the sort of scores she knows Len and Bruno are going to give by using clues from their comments, and is making it up as she goes along. She is commenting on the technical accuracy of steps displayed by the celeb contestants. Something she is not qualified to do.

She didn't notice Scot's mistake strewn dance and had the impudence to overmark him because Craig was clearly going to give a low score. What a stupid and dishonest woman she is!

I loved Matt and Aliona's dance. It was gorgeous and dramatic. Just goes to show it's all down to personal opinion, though, as clearly some people couldn't stand it. Aliona said she was trying to be more contemporary with it and that was fine with me - I'm surprised that a judge who is more 'contemporary', like CRH, didn't get that. Just an opinion!
I agree. I do think others are influenced by what they expect from an AS..normally a pastiche of various 1930's Hollywood movies with Fred and Ginger. I thought this was a bold attempt at something different, and I actually "got it" straight away. Whether it was a success technically, I'll leave to the experts. With my limited knowledge, I would guess it could have been better,,but I still thought it was a good routine.
As far as successfully "telling the story" in the dance goes, I think the time allowed On SCD was probably too short for Aliona's choreography..so in that respect she was probably over ambitious ?
