Is It Pointless To Vote At All, As Ann's Still In?
As Ann gets enough votes to stay in the competition regardless of the judges' scores, is there any point in voting for any of our preferred competitors to progress or to win ?

If you vote for your favourite and enough people agree with you, then your favourite will stay in the competition, regardless of Ann or anyone else for that matter. If you and others do not vote then your favourite leaves. Also because we do not see how many votes have been cast or the percentages for each couple 1,3,7,10 votes more could be enough for your couple to stay in.

If 20% more non-voting viewers just picked up their phones and voted for either Kara, Pamela or Gavin, and if 15% of Ann's fan club got tired of her and stopped voting, that might just push her down from second to fourth favourite in the voting results, and she would be in the semifinal eliminations. Obviously there's nothing scientific about this, but if people stop voting, then Ann may even top Matt in the voting statistics. |

A lot of people who have been voting for Ann up to now say they'll stop voting for her once it gets down to the golden four - Matt, Scott, Pamela and Kara. They love the show enough to enjoy the joke but respect the real dancers.

I only hope I am wrong.

On another thread not one but two posters are citing voting figures that put Ann very much in the frame for the chop. The Fab Four dancers most at risk, on the other hand, are said to be Kara and Pamela.
So yes, your vote is still worthwhile and if one of those two women is your favourite, then decide how much you can afford to donate to your phone company, and do it. |

I agree totally that if you can afford to vote and you choose to spend that portion of your income on SCD then you should vote for Ann or anybody still in!

I'm just crossing my fingers and keeping hope that in the end the public will see sense. I don't think any reality show has ever really had such a big joke contestant win. The public always see sense in the end, so i'm just keeping the faith.
(Plus I'm hoping the judges will try to fix it in the semi finals so the least popular couples are higher up their leaderboard, making it easier for Ann to go home!

Silly point of view. The people who have left recently had good fanbases (or they would not have got this far) and those fans can now transfer their votes. Anne may get to the final, but she will not win.

I think that people should, keep voting for their preference/s. I was interested in opinions and thank you.
In putting the question, I wondered if producers had considered the possibilty that lots of voters would just give up and let Ann get on with it. It wouldn't be good news for the phone companies nor for the programme. |
