I haven't tried BBC HD recently but I normally have no problems with outputting as .ts. Is VRD up to date with the latest beta? Are you sure there is no re-encoding going on? Are there any clues in the log?
Now you've mentioned it, how fast is the HDR in ftp mode? And do you still have to record HD manually in non-freesat mode?
