Additional phone socket
Hi All,
Just looking for some ideas really. I now work from home a lot and have to do a number of (long) conference calls. The wireless phones we have are fine, but often don't last too long before you get a "beep" warning that the battery is getting low. I therefore want a fixed wired (constantly charged) phone for my office (upstairs) whereas the bt connection point is downstairs and don't want to do all calls from there. I realise I could get an extension cable and additional phone box and wire it in upstairs. But are there any other options which means I wouldn't have to do this? For example: Something similar to a powerline adapter, that transfers phone data rather than Internet? Wireless option? Sorry for being rather vague and thanks and welcome any ideas. Cheers, Charlie

Something like this perhaps?
http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=97658 Though it is dearer than a bit of wire and elbow grease to run a proper extension lead
