Additional phone socket

Hi All,

Just looking for some ideas really.

I now work from home a lot and have to do a number of (long) conference calls. The wireless phones we have are fine, but often don't last too long before you get a "beep" warning that the battery is getting low.

I therefore want a fixed wired (constantly charged) phone for my office (upstairs) whereas the bt connection point is downstairs and don't want to do all calls from there.

I realise I could get an extension cable and additional phone box and wire it in upstairs. But are there any other options which means I wouldn't have to do this? For example:

Something similar to a powerline adapter, that transfers phone data rather than Internet?
Wireless option?

Sorry for being rather vague and thanks and welcome any ideas.

Cheers,

Charlie

Something like this perhaps?

Though it is dearer than a bit of wire and elbow grease to run a proper extension lead
