Unemployed Head of Communications?
OK, I know he's yesterday's news but.....
....Alex Epstein, Unemployed Head of Communications? He sold ice cream when he was younger. Why isn't he listed as 'Unemployed ice-cream salesman'? I can just see him down at the job centre now. .."No, I can't possibly consider that position. I'm holding out for 'Head of Communications'. Just give me a call when one comes up!" ![]()

Because you're likely to define yourself by your last job rather than very first one...?

Surely if you're unemployed, you're just unemployed. The job title wouldn't follow.
If you wanted to mention the job title, it would be "former head of communications" |
