I have a lot of songs I connect with, but the one I connect with most, and also the most beautiful, has to be It Ends Tonight by The All-American Rejects.

First time I heard I was at a really low point in my life, and every single word matched exactly what I was going through. Seriously, I couldn't have written it better myself. It's also an effortlessly beautiful song, if you listen to it, you realise Tyson Ritter is singing every word with a passion. It's stunning, it really is.

I'd also add:

Half the World Away - Oasis
Can't Stand Me Now - The Libertines
Dead and Gone - T.i.
Sam's Town - The Killers (Acoustic version when I'm feeling sad/reflective, studio version when I'm feeling angry. Such a good song!)

Hmmm, I have too many to list. I'll say this one though. Not because it's particularly personal to me but because it has the most haunting, beautiful production. The perfect juxtaposition of song and sound. The fact the singer has sadly since passed makes it even more evocative.
