Well I said on leaving at waaay to early o'clock that I'd oversleep ... and I did lol. Just got back from dropping Laura at swimming w school!

No snow here in the city of Bath - could be the same for Bristol as we are neighbours; but even if that's the case, getting here could be a problem for John and Josie

Had great fun during the night discussing several things, but boy it takes it out of you lol

Whoever it was that said how do I know John hasn't done any sightseeing - you're right, I don't! I got the impression from Josie saying on twitcam to Dave that they don't go out much, that they don't go out much lol and made a (probably incorrect) assumption that he'd not done the London sightseeing 'thing'. He can't have done that much though

Dixey - do join in any time, it's a good laugh

I'd love to be a bridesmaid Steph, thank you. You are very good and kind to the over 50s amongst us. We seem to be getting more invitations to funerals rather than weddings these days.

Think you are probably right about the train station. Having said that, I commuted for over two years and quit my job because the mainline train (First Great Western) had delays and cancellations - and the fares were astronomical.

We lived in Surrey and found commuting much easier. Of course, John and Josie won't be commuting every day. Maybe best solution is some place in East London (which is still relatively cheap) or Northeast London. Will they buy?

Whatever, hope John makes some of his own friends.

Just seen on twitter that the Cambridge signing has now been cancelled. I dont know if anyone was going today.

Am posting my last post again, cos just thought of a 5th reason:

Actually, I think a very good location for them to live would be in my road!

1. 45 minutes drive up M3 to London
2. Half an hour from Heathrow 45 minutes from Gatwick so handy for all their romantic getaways or trips to Australia.
3. Straight run through to the M4 so handy to drive down to Bristol.
4. 1 minutes walk to Country Park where they can walk their dogs.
5. And when they are away, I can dogsit.

What more could they wish If they are reading this just send me a pm will happily provide address
PS. There's a house for sale 3 doors down the road with nice garden

Morning snowed again here last night and trying to snow again now thankfully i've been out and now i'm back ready to spend the rest of this snowy day on here
