That German ginger Xmas cake - easy to make?
Can't remember what it's called - think it begins with K. Does anyone have a recipe?
Oh and does it keep long?

The only german Christmas cake I can think of is stollen, which is yummy and keeps quite a while.

We will have one in our German cookbook. I shall dig it out for you. Hopefully the translation is still there (it was my great grans book who was Austrian my dad and grandma have translated recipes as needed).
I haven't bothered in a few years though since I discovered it in Lidl. ![]() gimme a few. |
