They lost on negotiating, something Laura at least tried to do yet Stella found rude and embarrassing.
It wasn't about building up repeat custom or making friends which is what Stella seemed to want to do.
She rolled her eyes when Laura suggest they get out of Kensington then acted smug when her phonecall (to reservations lol) was connected.
Had Stella not got the pricing so wrong for the Truffles and been a bit more open to negotiation they could have easily saved £70.
Stella made the most mistakes so resorted to trying (and failing) to pick faults in someone else and rightfully Liz took issue with it.
That kind of thing in the boardroom is the sort of thing which could come back in a week or two in the boardroom "Evidence that you can't lead people" and cost Liz her place in the show, so she has every right to be angry and say her piece.
