She is given the same treatment as Adam and Kristina in Series 3 (everyone ignoring her in the house)

![]() I don't get why Joanna is being used as support for Stella either, especially where Liz is concerned because of that hug.Furthermore, to test this Liz and Chris are intimidated and threatened by Stella farce even further, why are both Liz and Chris not equally intimidated and threatened by Joanna, who is on balance a stronger contestant than Stella and also very much her own person? |

Stella a bitch? No.
Slightly over-rated? Possibly. But then apart from Jonna, none of the others are especially talented so a Stella win would be ok by me and quite satisfying given how the others are treating her. |

I mean to the general public she's not considered an underdog, performance-wise.

If only we could see the entire footage from the house we'd have much more insight into the housemates and their relationships. Someone could behave like Genghis Khan in the house and we wouldn't know it.

Yeah, it is obvious that Stella is not liked at all in the house. Unlike Laura, she canīt even relax in the house (as noted at the opening segment of the episode).

Strangely enough, when Stella was being bitchy towards Stuart the other week people were applauding There's a big difference though. Stuart and Stella had being taking pops at each other all day and winding each other up. On the You're Fired show, it showd a clip where the two were working in the office and Stuart called her "Mum" and then he kept making a big deal out of her being 31 in the boardroom (she's 30). Stuart well deserved that comment and he knew it. Liz had her chance to talk to Stella in private about any issues she had with what was said in the boardroom. Instead she did it in the most unprofessional and immature manner - she did it infront of everyone else |

Stella's performance hasn't been intimidating. She's almost always been paired with Joanna, who is impressive; it's tempting to say she's been riding Joanna's coattails. I think Chris had a point. Stella has had a good record, avoiding the boardroom, without doing much to earn it. She had two wins as PMs basically through luck and the other team going wrong. It's hard to point to anything she's done that justifies her place. It's good that she's finally been brought into the boardroom.
If you are the sort to undermine those who threaten you, surely they should undermine Liz or Joanna? Stella's two pm wins are the strongest ammunition she's got. It's difficult to argue with two wins and actually her own personal contribution in both those tasks was very good. I think you're undermining her here. |

I don't really know where Liz has the reputation that she's one of the strongest candidates, twice now she's made big errors that have contributed to her team failing. I'm also starting to think Stella might not be as excellent as some first thought.
Joanna stands head and shoulders above them both I think. |

Mary - the most unproffessional manner would be behind her back in front of everyone else. Whilst I'd like to think I'd have taken Stella aside if I'd been in Liz's position, I think it more likely I'd have bitched behind her back. I'm honest enough to admit that and I think the majority of other folks would to. Still it;s just a show and their bitch fight will make for entertaining viewing

You're right Cath. Joanne's stock hasd been rising for a few tasks now. Laura only stayed in the last couple of weeks because of Joanne's sale skills.

If luck is part of their skillset then you want them on your team.

Sad but true. Her first win was in the second task, where Laura did everything wrong and yet would still have won had she only had the sense to accept the Boots deal. Her second win was in German, when she had the power-houses of Joanna and Stuart working for her. They got her 9 appointments to the other team's 6, and the crucial 9am appointment - a huge advantage.Aside from this thin soup, she really hasn't done anything to justify her place. |

The thing about luck is that it's not reliable. Being lucky in the past doesn't mean she'll be lucky in the future. That's how luck differs from talent.

I can't say I like her. I don't find her that attractive either whereas Laura and Liz, I'd destroy. At the same time.

I believed that people would at least agree that double standards are used, but not even that

Did you choose to ignore the rest of Mary Patricia's post?
![]() If you must really know, those kind of comments are always made when the group is together in the living room (unlike the US version, perhaps it is staged that way?). Remember that verbal attack that James made towards Ben last year (also got a round of applause, go figure!)? |

When it gives some explanation as to why the Stuart/Stella situation was different, it's daft to ignore it.

It didnt look like LS liked Stella at all. The girls didnt seem to bargain at all. Considering they phoned in advance why didnt they ask the prices or isnt that allowed. They spent 2 hours phoning round, they should have managed to find more than one stockists of the items. How is it they didnt look for truffles on the phone.

Yes, it did. Stuart and Stella were needling each other all day.
Also, people are saying that Liz is turning the others against Stella, but it is obvious from comments (Laura, Stubags, Chris) that they already didnīt like her at all. Actually, I hope that both Stella and Liz will go out at the interview stage, but for different reasons (Liz would probably be lynched if she made it to the final, Katie Hopkins is a kitten compared to some of the reactions tonight). |

would be interested if she'd do the same with a more popular candidate - my guess is no |
