Liz and Joanna are the only 2 left in this competition that i like.I don't mind Stella but I'm not a fan of her "evil stares" she seems to love.Firstly to Stuart(this is why i think stella is not liked by allot of the remaining candidates,Stuart seems fairly popular) and then in the last task to Laura,in the car when she was searching on the phone for a truffles location.

Liz did better than the other 2 girls in front of Sir Alan and came across the best i feel, but she was a bit over-sensitive and shouldn't have brought the boardroom argument back to the house. It seemed Petty, but I can't help thinking Stella deserved it for her similar put down and stare to Stuart back at the house a few weeks back.

All in all I think Joanna and Liz are the strongest candidates left(i would say that,as they are my favs) with Stella a distant 3rd.The guys seem pretty useless to me in comparison and I think 2 if not 3 of them should have been fired by now.

Stella,Liz and Stuart on the same team next week could be very interesting

I didn't like the way she couldn't care less about Laura being fired, twice she gave a couldn't give a monkeys look.

It was Stella who was happy with a one pound discount for one item then had the audacity to have a go at Laura for "only" (!!!) getting a £50 discount on the truffells and it was Stellas fault they went to the most expensive place to buy them!!!!
And Stella accepted she'd screwed up.

Why should she care less about Laura being fired? I didn't.

Whoever wins, should be a peeople's person too, if they are not, they shouldn't be hired imo.

Stella or Joanne to win...can't believe that comment Liz made in the house afterwards (wishing Laura was still in the comp) As for Chris, his days are numbered anyway!!

Stella may not be the 'fun time' gal they all expect her to be, but she's in a competition and she there TO WIN, like ALL OF THEM are aiming for, so they need to get over themselves!!

But it's a totally different situation. Stuart had been a dick to her right through the task. She hadn't treated Liz in at all that way.
Her remark was bitchy because there wasn't a shred of truth to it; it was purely a dig at Stuart. What you (and many others, to be fair) seem to be saying is that because Stuart had been a dick, it means her remark was not bitchy.

Well OK if that's your way of seeing it, but I see it like this: If you were winding me up and I hit you, that means that I was violent. The fact that you may have been a dick to me all day doesn't change the fact that my reaction was violent. Likewise, it doesn't change the fact that Stella, imo, was bitchy.

We shall agree to differ.

I can't really blame Stella for her 'evil stares' or 'rolling of eyes' as I see it.

Laura was as smug as you like in there and really pleased when Stella couldn't get through to the restaurant. Plus Laura is just one that shirks responsibility. Stella had asked her do you want to go to East London (I think that's where Laura had said it would be better to go to), but she couldn't even make a decision and say YES let's go NOW.

Laura was always moaning that no-one listened to her but she just didn't want to accept the responsibility of any decisions - just like last week when she said to Stella 'you're the pm'.

Laura is just a silly wee lassie.

It was a dig, but there WAS a shred of truth in it. They were very lucky to win that task. And Stuart's arrogant display in the boardroom after it was announced was uncalled for, as it was a win by default rather than anything else.

I think their win was down to Joanna, not luck. To say that it was luck is to dismiss Joanna's input (another reason why I didn't like Stella's remark).

Even so, Stuart's chest-beating display in the boardroom was embarrassing to watch.

Very interesting that you ignore Joanna given that she's barely put a foot wrong through the whole process and has been singled out for praise from both Nick and Karen.

Why do you discount her?

But Stella didn't hit Stuart. All she did was stand up her herself against a sneering young man who was trying to belittle her.

Joanna probably has been the most competent, but I can't help feeling Sugar will be put off by her criminal conviction.

So he'll overlook lying on one's CV.

He'll overlook lying to people with whom you're dealing.

But he'll baulk at a spent conviction for something that was very much heat of the moment and resulted in a conditional discharge?

When did that actually first come to light?

If it was after they started screening the programmes and that is indeed what informs his ultimate decision then it would mean that he might well need to make a very dodgy call on the final task.

Well, I could be wrong, but it's just something I think he'd be reluctant to take on. And yes, if true it might mean a dodgy decision in the final - not the first time that's happened though!

Chris commenting on Stella's smugness and either Jamie or Stuart agreeing.

I LOVE stella...I thought Liz was really bitchy at the end!
I've just watched it and so glad someone else thought this. I've always liked Liz up to now but she came across as a nasty petulant bitch at the end. Of course it wasn't nice to hear that Stella thought she wasn't a good manager on this task, but they all say all the time that boardroom is dog eat dog - and Liz was quite happy to throw others under a bus.

It just proves to me that she's totally immature - and it WAS her fault that they lost the task - by her own admission she thought the task was about getting all the stuff and forgot it was about the price, and her strategy was on that basis.

Liz is the bitchy one. Stella is just strong and intelligent and girls envy that.

I think Stella today did nothing right. She seems never to have been to the east end, she certainly didnt know her way around. Why didnt she go to check it out the day before like Jamie did. These people paid a lot of money for this trip, no wonder she got no tips.

I suspect she has been to the east end; she just didn't know where one jellied eel stall was. She admitted her map-reading isn't good. As Lord Sugar isn't likely to be looking for a navigator, that won't hurt her.

Everybody who has ever been to the East End knows where tubby isaacs is.
I think he has been there for many years. He is a fixture there.
Just because she works in the city. It is a world apart.
She should have chosen a tour of the city, where she knows her way round. Or like LS a tour of Bond street. That still doesnt explain why she didnt plan her route.
NIck hasnt lost or better put Karen hasnt won once. I think for the next series she should be fired!

But she hasn't always worked in the City. From the Final Five show tonight, she clearly had a very different beginning to her life from where she is now (though I don't think it was East End)

I don't think there was as much pressure on Stella to win this week as there was for her to show she had some personality, which she did. There was nothing else she needed to do right to get through. Her impressive performances earlier afforded her the chance to invest in her long term position by addressing the one issue the other candidates had raised about her.
