Who would you employ?

Serious question. Some of you may be hirers and firers, some may just have an opinion. So, leaving aside whether you fancy them, whether they make you laugh, or any other entertaining thoughts, suppose you were really looking for someone to work for you - who would you employ? And why? Bearing in mind you are going to have to work with your choice, and maintain an effective working relationship, with you as their boss.

Chris and Joanna. They have the right set of skills to make anything a success.

Tough... probably Stella. Not that I'm a hirer or a firer just a student lol. I just like the fact she seems quite professional, calm and seems to get on with the job.

Or if I could have anyone from the whole series probably Chris who got fired last week. or Raleigh he seemed like a nice bloke.

... I just did a rubbish job of picking lol

Liz or Joanna

That would very much depend on what I was hiring them to do:

If it was sales - Joanna
If it involved more management/logistics - Stella
Comedy value - Stubaggs

Joanna - surprisingly because I HATED her with a passion the first few weeks but she has really come on. Excellent negotiator
Stella - seems dependable and professional
Chris - quick learner, good with people

Honestly quite a lot of them.

Liz, Stella, Joanna and Chris for definite. All have demonstrated some great skills.

I would probably hire Paloma as I think she did have a certain something (apart from her looks ) and I think was quite interesting and dynamic.

I'd also happily hire Alex and Sandeesh. But for a support role as they were both good workers just not original.

And I guess for that reason I'd give Joy a go as well.

So yeh 8/16. Half the cast.

Joanna for the role
Herr Baggs for the craic

Stella. Highly professional, calm and collected. Would get the job done without a fuss, and in most cases, excel.

Joanna's talented, but her personality grates. That unstoppable conveyer belt of dirty looks would really do my head in. She's reined in her mouth, but you can tell that's only for the process. On a long-term basis I still think she'd be a nightmare to work with.

Any of the 3 remaining girls.

In mid-level management. Nothing more.

Stella
Joanna

Chris irritates me, wouldn't touch Jamie or Stubags
Liz has gone down in my estimation although I'm sure she'd do well, but I don't like her snideness

Depending on the role, it'd have to be Stella or Joanna.

Stella for logistics, Joanna for sales, Scouse Christopher just because he seemed the easiest to work with and Stubaggs for my own amusment (I wouldn't actually give him anything important to do).

I wouldn't touch Paloma or Melissa with a barge pole. Alex was a basket case so I wouldn't want him either. Laura can come back when she's grown up a bit. Jamie is too self-important. Chris is an okay salesman but a bit of a plonker other than that. Liz is borderline, she has something to offer (probably more than all of them except Stella and Joanna) but she's too much of a business degree type for me, has all the jargon but not the instinct (I like Stella, Jo and Chris because they speak like normal people and have common sense rather than falling back on business cliches, although I have to say Jamie is even worse than Liz for this) . The rest we didn't get to know well enough.

Oh I might employ Sandeesh for the same reasons I'd employ Christopher (hard working and likeable and fairly sensible).

Depends what the job was. Selling dodgy cars - Stu , Joanna, Jaimie and Chris. Anything in bigger businesses requiring thinking, smarts, planning, presentation and style - Liz and Stella. If its for someone more junior with potential - Sandeesh or Laura.

I'd employ Stella. I don't know about you, but I'd like to know for sure that the person I employ has common sense.

Although if I needed a salesperson I would go for Stuart, and not Stella. Her one weakness is his one strength.

I'd employ Laura to sit on my knee and make notes of my thoughts of genius

Joanna I think. She may not be as groomed as the others but she's got a lot of savvy

Joanna. She just seems to have that natural ability to "get things done" and is very shrewd too....definitely the kind of person you would want working for you.
