She was my favourite up until that point. There was no need for it, coming back to the boys and telling on Stella. They all said things in the boardroom, it's the nature of the show. She's lost my support now.

Liz must have been pretty sure that she'd have the support of the other people in the room to come out with those comments. I think she's playing a little game of trying to undermine Stella - but Stella seems more than capable of looking after herself.

Was it any different then what Stella did the other week to Stuart

Yes it was. Stella spoke objectively and truthfully. What Liz did was far more calculated and manipulative, almost in a schoolyard bully style, and to quote Liz herself, Liz "exaggerated the truth" about what Stella said.

Liz quoted Stella word for word actually.

I just loved that whole scene

It is just a shame that people take this incident so seriously (as we had these incidents before in the series), but perhaps people were waiting for this moment to take Liz down

Sherlock, all your posts have this underlying theme that all us womenfolk are jealous of Liz. Will you get off that? Many of us liked Liz and are disappointed by her behaviour.

IMO Stella chatted shit about Liz because it was the boardroom and she felt she had to rather than because she actually meant most of it. Then Liz over-reacted and acted like a bit of a child about it. Neither really came over at their best, but so long as neither bears a grudge, I don't think it's a big deal.

They all have to defend themselves in the boardroom and sometimes that means pointing out flaws in their competitors.

Liz made it sound like she was some sort of victiim. If anything, it was Stella who had been picked on.

I thought Liz came across as unprofessional and quite underhand because she has deliberately made Stella even more unpopular amongst the group. They will use her as a scapegoat at every opportunity now.

I found the whole Stella V LIz afair at the end was staged myself as they probably know that they will be in teh final so they want a battle and cause tension between them to make better TV

I 'm sure Stella and Liz were smirking at each other at the end. I think it was all for the cameras.

Made me feel quite sorry for Stella, actually.

If anything, it just makes me support Stella more than ever and I think Liz, especially on this board, lost a lot of support.

I think Liz just might as well of told Stella---the whole point of bringing you and Laura back was to get you fired at the first chance I got. But, that plan backfired and you're still here.

So, from getting into the taxi and then at the house, she's now trying to undermine Stella psychologically. I think Liz just showed she's frightened of Stella while Laura wasn't a real threat to her.
I think last week with the chips, Stuart volunteering Stella as PM was his attempt to get rid of her too and on this task was trying to put himself into a win-win situation no matter the outcome. Liz is somewhat not as subtle with her attempt after it failed.

liz's behaviour was childish and passive aggressive, I found Stella acted with a bit more dignity
I still think Liz is a strong candidate but she'll have to get a bit more robust if she's going to be a success - take the criticism like a man love!

Liz played a blinder, now all other contestants undermine Stella and are likely to gang up and blame Stella if she's in the boarddroom with them.

This is sadly likely to be true. Herd mentality.

This little scene was significant in that most of the discussions on this thread are more relevant to Big Brother.

The scene was also a typical Big Brother type scene on a sittee, is that the direction this great show wants to go

The show has been more about 'characters' and 'feuds' for some time now.

It was totally different.

Stella made a snide comment about Stuart's performance on the task... that it wasn't very good and they... or he was lucky the other team did worse. Yes it was a bitchy slight but not a personal one made towards Stuart's actual character.

And that's what seperates Liz's behaviour. She started making snide attacks on a personal level away from their performance, trying to hint that Laura was liked and Stella wasn't.
