Card was fatally marked tonight I think. If the girls team lose next week she is gone, Liz and Joanne will make sure of it and hang her out to dry I think

LAS had even stated earlier and agreed that she is too corporate and effectively agreed with Laura

The teams for next week are: Liz, Stella and Stuart v Joanna, Jamie and Chris.

I wouldn't discount Stella just yet though.

Liz, Stella and Stuart on a team? Disaster.
I suspect unless they win, Stella will unfortunately and probably unjustly go

We?

You can rule her out OP. I'm behind Stella more than ever now!

I think it's Liz whose chances are slipping away....

Nah, I think that's too strong an interpretation of what he said. And he was specifically trying to make it sound like he was about to fire her - so he was exaggerating for effect.

I think Stella's 'corporateness' is a concern - yes. But I don't think it's a deal breaker just yet.

He used the same tactic with Yasmina and her restaurant last year.
I think he keeps mentioning it to see if they crack and admit that they don't really need his job.

I think both Liz & Stella won't win now. The only one who I think can win at this point is Joanna.

She only has herself to blame though, as she has a negative attitude which is fatal in business.

The closest person you could compare her with is Kristina, but she came across much better to me (more likable) and also a better at selling (though sometimes with underhand tactics).

Personally, I always thought that this was a business show and not Big Brother (but some of the threads tonight have proven otherwise, it takes me out of the series a bit).

I'm actually thinking more and more by the episode that Joanna will walk this. She's the only one who hasn't got a major X on her card at the moment, and week by week we see her doing really well.

Complete BS. If anything, you're the one being all 'Big Brother' about it with your obvious Liz bias. But I guess that my jealousy rearing its head, eh?

I can't quite forget what a loudmouthed pushy cow she was at the start, I have yet to warm to her.

It's still a business show and decisions are still made on the credentials of the contestants most of the time.

I do agree this forum gets abit more like BB every year with the focus on personalities more and more but thankfully it's still not a popularity contest with a vote. If that was the case, James and Stu would have won the last two series

I agree, she has changed alot since the first episode and has a good chance of winning now

Sorry, but I am just judging based on business decisions and Stella (and Laura) made the major error on this task. Luckily for Stella she had a clean sheet, so Lord Sugar would look silly if he fired her.

Sad all this Big Brother stuff (leave it in the house, donīt let it take over this forum)

Well, if he loses then he will be in the Laura position from this week (and the guy is already bad at handling women ).

He's finding reasons not to employ Stella or Liz. Stella is labelled as corporate and doesn't have any of the market trader "skills" he prizes. She's also failed twice on getting the pricing right which he will use to add to his dislike of bankers. She's also been labelled as awkward. She needs a flash of brilliance and a popular performance as PM. Liz is losing anything that looks like a winner's record and he's labelled her as shrewd and smart - which he also doesn't value that much. Liz needs a big selling or buying success to prove she is practical enough . She won't get another chance now to shine as PM though.

The others are much of a muchness - you might employ any of them to sell used cars, but none are very bright or polished . Jaimie or Chris are the nearest thing to Lee - if possibly even less capable. Jo is difficult, but its not been noticeable recently as she's been working with calmer people and she will appeal on basic business sense, selling ability and her bullt my own business story. Stuart seems likely to go the same way as Tre and his lookalikes - though a decent late performance could win him credibility?

Wouldn't be at all surprised if he went for Jo . She may just need to keep calm and not blow her top at anyone or make a dumb mistake. He can always find some excuse not to take better qualified candidates.

There's also a big question what the job is. The recent tasks suggest its at the Delboy end of the spectrum - which probably rules out the real high fliers.

Given the past, I think it means she's almost guaranteed to win now.

The usual misdirection.

I never found her loudmouthed or pushy. What incident are you referring to?

If it's in regards to week 2 (I think) when she suggested the book thing at the beginning of the meeting, I had a totally different interpretation. They sat down to discuss idea's and Joanna straight away came out with an idea (maybe a bad one but still an idea) and half way her sentence Laura the baby stopped her and said I don't want people just coming out with idea's. But she offered no structured alternative, and had no ideas of herself. I saw it that Joanna realised it was a brainstorming session, came out with an idea, was shot down for no reason-just because Laura would rather sit in silence then cry it appeared, and she then became frustrated with the lack of focus, structure, professionalism. No one had any ideas, and Laura would have offered no product at all! Joanna just wanted to get the task done and with no better option she pushed the Book thing, which was shit, but at least it was an idea and she was proactive. I never saw her as rude to Laura, just willing to get on with things.

Too corporate but a much nicer person than Liz.
Surprised that Liz brought the Boardroom back into the house in attacking Stella. Don't think I've seen that done before.
Unpleasant but I think Liz has the edge on Stella.
