She's 30 now (or last year, when it was filmed)

She's been in her job for 13 years

So she's been a banker since she was 17? Somehow I find that hard to believe

a lot of people go into trading when they leave school and do qualifications when they're working

If true......it'll come up in the interviews.

"So you're Dougie Howser? Or 45?"

Why is that hard to believe? I work in an Investment bank in The City and we've got loads of people here that came in straight from school.

In fact, one woman here is 44 and been here for 28 years.

There is something sad about Stella because she seems to have little in the way of humour and enthusiasm..
She has given too much of her life to that Japanese bank if you ask me.

What a ridiculous thing to say. There's nothing sad about being professional. I'd rather have a Stella on my team, when I know the job is going to be done, and well.

I imagine she worked her way up. Someone in my office (financial services) started aged 16, is now manager of her department 24 yrs later...

I like Stella but surprised for someone who has worked in a bank for all this time to get her sums wrong. In an earlier task and was caught out in the board room because she didnt listen to something being said and it cost the team money.

Stella has excellent leadership skills but I think she's prone to making silly mistakes and that won't have gone unnoticed to Sugar, so Id be surprised if she won.

At the start I had both Stella and Liz as firm favourites to win, not anymore

That botoxed bitch is well over 30. She seemed so defensive when Stuart questioned her age, I think becoming a banker at 17 is highly unlikely, unless she did every job possible in the organisation and worked her way up to something respectable...

Because everyone person who works in a bank is a banker?

She isn't a banker, by the way. She is Head of Business Management within a bank.

the apprentice site says she left school with no qualifications so that does seem to indicate she when straight into the bank at 16/17. She probably started at the bottom and worked her way up.

That botoxed bitch
I think you are crossing the line there between having the right to an opinion on someone, and being downright offensive.

I would be too if an immature jerk thought my age should be held against me.

And it's not uncommon at all to start in a bank after leaving school. That's exactly where my Father started out.
