Well, as he's the boss, he wouldn't say 'sorry' in such circumstances; it would be more a case of 'ditch that, we're going down a different path'. But on occasions where he makes an out and out mistake, he's not afraid to apologise.

Yes, that really surprises me too, since he's one of the most honest people I know. I guess he differentiates between blagging white lies and stuff like theft and embezzlement, which he'd come down hard on.
