I've just started using my first ever smart phone. I like it fine but it takes time to adjust. Nokia 5230 on Virgin.

I can't work out how to delete voicemail msgs. Actually, I can't always find them.

I turn the phone off for doctor's surgeries, etc.
When I turn it back on, it tells me have a new voicemail msg.
I tap on it, and get the same old one that's been there a few days.
"To delete, press 7, to save, press 9" (or it could be the other way round)
Thing is - no keys, how do I press 7 or 9 that aren't there?
Plus, if I try, like now, to find the voicemail msgs from the menu, I can't even find the category.

Can anyone help, please?

(Don't even get me started on ovi maps yet, even with the online hand book I'm still confused... )

during a call there will be an option on the screen 'dialler' or something similar, which will display a keyboard.

your not the first person to identify this problem

flagpole was right - in a call press the button for dialler (or is it keypad, I forget), that brings up the keypad for the various options.

Ovi maps is easy ....

Install the Ovi suite (or possibly the older separate map loader application).

Connect up the phone (in PC Suite mode)
Start up the Ovi/Map loader on the PC.
Select the areas you want loaded. Wait while they download (UK is around 100+meg), then start using.

Simples
