But Anton and Erin I don't think have ever been available for the Strictly Tour as they normally tour their own show at the same time, so Ann will probably need another partner!

It's the Daily Mirror, I can't remember the last time it printed something I found remotely believable....

But if it is true, then I will be heading for the bar at that point in the show, and I'm sitting front row so I could make my exit very, very obvious

ETA: The 'report' mentions Len and Bruno as judges, but not Craig, so clearly it's fabricated because we all know Craig is judging!

Ann Widdecombe has been confirmed as a late addition to the Strictly Come Dancing live tour.

The ex-Conservative MP will be partnered at the shows with Strictly judge and the tour's creative director Craig Revel Horwood

Speaking about the upcoming jaunt, Widdecombe said: "I am very much looking forward to dancing with Craig, after all the rude remarks he has made. However, as he is even taller than Anton, the result should be even funnier! Will anyone judge his performance, I wonder?"

Horwood added: "Watching Anton carry Ann round the dance floor like a pantomime dame has been rather painful, but never the less extremely entertaining!

"Ann is a good sport, I can't wait to get my hands on her, and create a fabulous routine which people will talk about for many years to come!"

I do remember reading recently in an interview, that she was 'still considering' the tour. If it's true, I'd imagine it'll be a one off novelty dance from her and Craig, perhaps in the middle of the show, and that she won't be part of the main competition. The tour website, after saying that the full line-up had been confirmed, with Matt, says now that there will be a 'further announcement' next week.

Happily I won't be going either way

Ugh. That is all I can say at the minute. If it wasn't for the fact that Pamela, Matt and Kara are doing the tour and Ola is dancing with Colin Jackson, I'd consider selling my ticket.

Presumably Ann isn't actually going to be competing, but will dance the 'showdance' slot that is usualy filled by a fab pro couple
