I had no idea a ticket was so expensive. That is an outragious over price to charge. I've been to many shows in the West End in the best seats and never had to pay those prices. And now they have the cheek to include that venomous woman.

... perhaps Craig is 'taking one for the team' in order to have a little influence on the Widdie. You never know - he may change her mind about a few things.

Fair play to him if that's the reason...

That is the premium to sit on the dancefloor on a Saturday night. You can get much cheaper tickets... But I think the dancefloor ones are worth it if you can afford it.

I intend on taking a book with me and pointedly taking it out at that moment and yes I do have a front row ticket. Sorry thats probably over the top but I am seriously fuming at having forked out so much for tickets and being stuck with Widdy. *flounces out clutching a bottle of vodka*

If they are not competing it isn't quite as bad - bad enough but they couldn't compete against the best dancers - Colin Jackson, Ricky Whittle et al.

By the way Craig can dance.

Proves that Ann does get on well with them, I doubt Craig would dance with anyone he really loathed.

Of course she does

When she sat up after Anton spun her at the end of their "Samba", the first thing she did was point at the Judges (I think Craig in particular) and grin, plus the camera shot of Craig supposedly in the photo frame in their Charleston was no accident either.

The whole Craig vs Ann thing has been as stage-managed as the routines, I reckon.

... as far as my tiny (largly defunct) cerebrum can conjure I'm not so sure that the 'Craig and Ann' coupling is a happy union. Conspiracy throries aside, lets just hope some good can come of it.

you lot have no idea how long it took for me to type this. I am sozzled.

It's a front row seat, so for most of the rest of the cast it's worth it

Oh I am going to flounce out to the bar very pointedly, or if I happen to be in the middle of a lock and would annoy a lot of others by moving, I'll pointedly read my programme with my head down!

That explains a lot. Final five on the 2011 tour. ( but Matt had to drop out). So it was, pretty predictable from week one. Ann in until the last possible moment. If Craig really has booked Ann and is going to dance with her on the tour then he really has sold his soul.

Matt has not dropped out of the tour.

I thought he had, due to pressure of work ie the One Show. Either way he deserves to be on the tour anyway ! He's a fantastic, dancer.

There was a tabloid rumour that he'd dropped out, but there's nothing on the official website. I'm not even sure if there's confirmation that he actually has got the One Show job, but maybe I've missed some info there

It looks like Ann and Craig quite like each other behind the scenes. Its great to hear that they will be dancing together on tour, it will give Craig the opportunity to give Ann the benefit of all his dancing experience.

That's it. Wind up. You're a scream. "..all the benefit of his dancing experience". That won't take long, then!

Everyone keeps harping on about what a great judge Craig is and its his experience that we are paying for, who am I to argue. I'm gutted I might end up in the tour cheap seats, I just checked on line and it looks as though Widdy mania has taken hold, all the best UK tour seats have sold out. Now that Ann is going on tour I have three favourites to watch, I just hope Felicity is another late addition.

I think you'll find that all the best UK tour seats were sold out months ago, long before Ann Widdecombe was announced. I bought my tickets last February on the night they went on sale and we couldn't get front row seats - we're in the second row!

I'm disappointed that so far Ian hasn't been announced as taking part - who on earth is Natalie going to dance with for the pro dances if he doesn't take part as the only people tall enough are Matt Cutler, Brendan or Ian?

Exactly. I got my tickets on the day they went on sale and couldn't get front row ones together, so they're definitely not selling out because of Ann!

I would guess that if Ian doesn't do the tour Natalie will be dancing with Artem, as Katya isn't touring and I presume Artem will be dancing with Kara!

AFAIK, Scott hasn't signed up for the Tour and Matt hasn't dropped out.

I think Craig dancing with Anne just shows how much of what we see on SCD is just an act put on for our benefit. If Craig was truly horrified by Anne still being here he wouldn't have anything to do with dancing with her on the tour.

I intend not to return into the arena until she is 'done'

Fingers crossed she appears just after the interval so I can actually stay at the bar and not have to get up and walk out midway thro the show - because I will - plus I am front row.....

I was too slow to get good seats for the tour in January and then found out Ramps was doing it and was gutted. On the day of the show I was driving past the Sheffield Arena so I called into the box office and they had floor seats in the returns that day. These were the seats the celebs/band had been allocated but not used so they only got returned on the day of the show. If you don't mind taking a risk on the day it's worth a shot.

I'm keeping my money this year - it'll be the first time I haven't bothered but I've no stomach for the Widdy/Craig comedy routine

What are you on about? Craig has years of dancing and choreographing experience. I have just seen his production (and choreography) for the current tour of Chess and it was brilliant.
