Foxsat HDR Timeshift and Subtitle Bug
White-Knight
02-12-2010
Apologies if this has been posted before as its probably old, but just recently I've had a problem when playing back a timeslip recording, I always get subtitles on it whether I want them or not.

Pressing the "Sub" button just pops up a message saying "No available in Timeshift Mode".

No problems otherwise, but its get very annoying not being able to pause Live Tv without coming back to subtitles.

Does anyone know if this bug is scheduled to be fixed in the upcoming software update?

Thanks Graham - worked for me too.

But when's it going to be fixed? I believe this bug's been around since HDR was launched, although I don't think I saw it until quite recently.

You can fix the problem permanently (or at least until the next time you need to do a factory reset - after a firmware upgrade say) by turning subtitles ON then OFF for each affected channel.

Brilliant! thanks gomezz, I took ages finding this thread, and was pessimistic about a fix. I am just off to carry out your instructions. Thanks

Yep- that definitely works.
It was really beginning to bug me too.
Thanks again.

I didn't know about the permanent fix until someone mentioned it a few weeks ago.
