Perhaps another "flaw" in The Apprentice?

If any of you watched the You're Fired after show, you would have noticed sit down interviews asking the contestants thoughts on how the task went with joanne, Laura, Stella and Liz saying

Liz "we came back with all ten products i'm very proud"

Laura "we got every item, thats a win, and i cant wait to hear the result"

joanna "really confident that we won the task"

Stella "feeling really confident that we are going to win"

How the hell did they have time to carry out those interviews if they were seen rushing to the board room for 6-30pm!!?

They might have been give a break before the boardroom. A chance to catch their breath even have their supper. I'm sure they had lunch break and a few bathroom breaks in that 10 hour run for the task.

according to the footage they got the last item with minutes to spare then took a TopGear style race against the clock cab ride to the boardroom.

you see The Brand and Chris running in at pace and high fiving, I love this show but i think its very setup

It's definitely set-up. For example, there is no way the girls get ready in half an hour with their hair straightened and faces caked in make-up. I suspect they may even have a professional make-up artist provided by the production team.

The point was for them to be back at Sugar HQ at the set time. Not in time for the boardroom, but in time for make-up and to record their impressions of the task, and maybe grab a bite as well. The arrivals at the waiting room where probably specifically recorded because someone was late and they needed to show that because it's a TV show.

There would have been a gap between them getting to the office and them going into the boardroom. For example, they need some time to brief Lord Sugar. It's his only chance to grill the winning team on what went wrong for them, and he likes to know the answers to his questions before he asks them.

I've always thought this too.

However, if they do, then Joanna must refuse the make-up artist because she looks like she's got that just-got-out-of-bed-look on every day. Not even a lick of mascara!

Great point! I guess Sugar wasn't there at 6:30pm. He turned up later? - so that gave the girls time to do the comments to the camera. They must have edited it to look like Sugar was there at 6:30pm. It's similar to them waking up early and then needing to rush to get ready. It's just edited to look like that but they all know when the tasks start. The show's been running for years, it can't be a shock to know they have to get up early.

They definitely have for the boardroom, but I'm not sure about day-to-day.

Isn't the 'boardroom' at Pinewood.

All the shops must realise which TV programme it is.

Probably not, judging by how familiar the candidates clearly weren't with the studio in week 7.

And yeah, I figured they had to arrive at the holding pen in time for counting, rather than in time to go straight into the boardroom. We also didn't see them unload the taxis, nor the purchases being evaluated.

Why would the boardroom be in a furniture store?
