I'll be honest about the Bluebook...

I didn't know what the Bluebook was any more than they did! The only time I ever heard the term used before was for "Project: BLUEBOOK" - the U.S. government's official investigation of U.F.O.'s:

Yes, I am now on the same level as StuBaggs. Is anyone else?

I didn't know either. Normally I'd use the internet to try and find out, but they have to act as if it hasn't been invented. They have to ask around instead. The boys were lead in the wrong direction by a bookseller - the most logical person to ask about books.

I had no clue either. But they're the ones that want to work for Alan Sugar.

The sheet that said Blue Book also added for them---
Specification: London Runs 1-320 Complete Set 1-4
New or used in good condition.

So, at least they knew at the start it was 4 books they were after, and about 320 runs around London and then figure out what are these runs in London these 4 books were about?
Blue Book title would suggest it/they are a directory or compilation of some sort.
Being able to buy used, they might have asked if they had any second hand ones, after they've figured what they were, to try and get the price lower still.

The only Blue Book I knew of was an American Magazine.

The girls got lucky on that one.

I thought it was that thing O2 give you on their website, that stores all of your texts, voice calls and notes etc

Yeah, as I said in another thread, I thought it was that thing Judge Judy gets Burt to use to look up the price of cars --- "Get me a Blue Book on a 97 Carmaro, can you Burt?"

However, the subtitle they were given (London Runs?) indicated it was not a US item and neither was it the multisession CD standard (another 'Blue Book').

Didn't notice the subtitle myself - I'll have to watch it again to spot it. Still, even if I had spotted the subtitle, I still would have had no idea what it was.

I think the production team are trying to be more vague in the items they give on the list for the shopping task, to up the challenge. So it doesn't reflect that badly on the boys that they didn't know what bluebook was at first, imo.

It certainly doesn't rank with the hunt for the Nigella seeds in S3.
