Thanks to everyone who posted the replies

The Prawn Puree was gorgeous
The Chicken Chaat was quite nice
The Chicken Pakora was gorgeous

The Rashmi kebab (lamb with omelette wrapped around it) was way too salty for my liking, so won't be getting it again.

Aloo tikki with channa, yoghurt and tamarind or aloo papadi chaat. I also like bhel puri and paani puri.

It was probs salty cos the place you got it from was rubbish. Try it from somewhere else and it may be nicer? I don't think chicken chaat is an authentic dish, chaat is, but I think the chicken element is a British thing, much like the balti curry and chicken tikka masala. I could be wrong though.

I nearly always go for the Shami Kebab if I have a starter, but generally go straight for the main course.

I do like the butterfly deep fried prawn with yoghurt from the local Indian. Great stuff.

Mulligatawny soup is also great as well.

Got to have a few poppodums as well as the starters with the various dips you get in an Indian restaurant.
