Just read on the Matt and Aliona appreciation thread that the guests on the Friday panel were quite nasty about Matt. If you are a true fan you should be on there, Tamsin and Michael's press agents were dorks booking them on itt tonight.

Did you actually watch the show Tall Paul?

They just were people who were fans of some of the other contestants- not everyone that goes on the show has to worship at the alter of Matt and Aliona- there are lots of us who don't. This is not the Matt show even if the Beeb have tried to make it that this week- its on a par with Emma Bunton IMO.

Also, if you had bothered to watch it you would know that both of them are SCD fans and in fact Michael has been on several times before. They both gave v useful and often insightful comments and for me it was one of the best Friday Panels this series.

I hear they were quite spiteful to Matt and gave them a bashing. Standard practice for bbc methinks.

ITT tonight actually clarified why Matt is not a particular favourite of mine. Yes he dances well, with athleticism, grace & style but has no sex appeal. The sex appeal of dancing is not gender specific or particularly sexual in nature either.

He presents Countryfile, has either been confirmed or is likely to be confirmed as presenter for the One Show and in addition is part of the commentary team for gymnastics coverage. I don't think it is standard practice for the BBC to be spiteful to and bash one of their own.

If you really think that the Beeb are not supporting Matt then I am seriously concerned about the level of fandom you have reached- he is on nearly every show, linked to SCD or not, and is clearly someone the Beeb want to win.

Also Monagg I agree- Tamsin said everything that I have been saying about Matt for weeks- it was a really good and honest panel I think (not just because of that bit!)

They weren't nasty at all and they are true fans, just not of Matt. ITT is not there to only have people on it that think Matt is the best. I think what really annoys you is that everyone else doesn't see Matt the way you do

Whilst I read the thread I was pretty annoyed the fact that Tamsin and Michael didn't like Matt and that has got up my nose a lot.

Believe it or not people are allowed to like other couples.

But it doesn't affect that you love Matt does it? So it shouldn't matter. It doesn't bother me when there have been Friday panels where the celebs say they really love Matt or Scott or Pamela or whoever because that's their opinion and doesn't affect or nullify my opinion.

Really? Anyone who's not a fan of Matt is automatically considered a poo-head. Any slight criticism of Matt and smilies are used. I thought the panel was quite good.

Oh well, now you may know why fans of Pamela felt somewhat odd saying so on DS.

You need to learn that people arent attacking you if they disagree with your opinions. They are just disagreeing with you. A subtle but important difference.
