Mozart was fine as usual but I can't say I enjoyed the production and staging. Rather too gimmicky and distracting.

Totally agree...gimmicky staging I found totally distracting. Insulting to Wolfgang Amadeus and the singers, who were brilliant.

Pretentious utterly meaningless codswallop from Kasper Holten in the interval. Technically pictures and sound were faultless.

Yes, many thanks. I sorted it eventually.

I think the AV settings in my Technomate are incorrect. If I select Dolby HDMI, which is the output that I am using, I get no audio. However, if i select Dolby S/P DIF the audio is just fine.

At risk of teaching my granny to suck eggs, don't forget that USA is already on DST (summer time) and there is only a 4 hour difference with the east coast at present, so Werther starts at 4.55 GMT.
