Is anyone recording Norma by any chance? I'm currently in Germany and there's just a fixed dish pointing at 19E here. I'm really disappointed that I'm missing the lovely Joseph!

I can't see anything listed from ROH but it may just be a test tape from the uplinking firm. |

Bolshoi
Bolshoi programme (Pathe Live) due at 4pm on 0.8W 11501 V 14000. Test running now. Looks like programme is 'L'age d'or' with Bolshoi Ballet.

Met Opera feeds up. I found a feed on 10oE with burnt-in English subtitles. Just barely on the right side of good reception with 80cm motorised dish.

Is there a website that gives some advance notice?
C. Not very clever, I know, but I usually look at the (UK) Odeon Events website which often lists the obvious suspects well in advance. If you pick an event and then a cinema it will tell you the time the programme starts so you can estimate when to start looking for the feed. Beware: some 'encore' events and 'specials' are not broadcast but presumably shown locally from disc or whatever other source. http://www.odeon.co.uk/eventcinema/ Nutcracker from ROH tomorrow and MetOpera on Saturday! You may find some others on the French Pathe Cinema website including Bolshoi. P. |
