Is anyone recording Norma by any chance? I'm currently in Germany and there's just a fixed dish pointing at 19E here. I'm really disappointed that I'm missing the lovely Joseph!

Not forgetting, of course, the old faithful 0.8W on 11480 V / 13310 with numerous subtitle language options.

Intriguingly there is currently (1105/10th Oct) a ROH test transmission is currently on this frequency. I can't see anything listed from ROH but it may just be a test tape from the uplinking firm.

It's for Cosi Fan Tutti from ROH next Monday. Looks like a busy week for the up-linkers with King Lear and Miss Saigon before the ROH!

Bolshoi programme (Pathe Live) due at 4pm on 0.8W 11501 V 14000. Test running now. Looks like programme is 'L'age d'or' with Bolshoi Ballet.

Did anyone else catch the advert at the end of this programme for "Jonas Kaufmann Mein Italian" on ZDF 28th October, from 23.30 - 00.35 CET? Presumably a plug for his latest CD, but sounds good nonetheless.

Met Opera feeds up. I found a feed on 10oE with burnt-in English subtitles. Just barely on the right side of good reception with 80cm motorised dish.

Yes...I managed to get a reasonable signal with an 80cm dish.

Thanks for that - First time I found out about a La Scala broadcast in time! I looked on their website to see what other broadcasts there were but could find nothing. Is there a website that gives some advance notice?

C,
Not very clever, I know, but I usually look at the (UK) Odeon Events website which often lists the obvious suspects well in advance. If you pick an event and then a cinema it will tell you the time the programme starts so you can estimate when to start looking for the feed. Beware: some 'encore' events and 'specials' are not broadcast but presumably shown locally from disc or whatever other source.

Nutcracker from ROH tomorrow and MetOpera on Saturday!
You may find some others on the French Pathe Cinema website including Bolshoi.
