Thanks for the tip, I'll give it a go if I get any more problems...
I have to admit I don't often rescan as it changes all the channel numbers and takes me ages to find them again.

Ever since we got back from the Take That concert on Friday my brain has been totally scrambled too - I think I've decided I'm too old for all that now!!!
