It's looking very likely that the remaining couples won't get to dance all the remaining styles. After this week, each couple has four styles left to learn. We know they're doing two dances in the semi-final...but surely they won't do two new dances in the final as well as reprising their favourites (too much to fit into one week of rehearsal)?

Question is, do you mind? I'd be annoyed if Matt won without having done the paso doble or Kara won without having done the rumba, but maybe that's just me. Do the producers think we won't notice?

So, which dances are you looking forward to, and which should they leave out?

What I'd like to see if they don't get to do them all:

Matt: Waltz/Paso
Kara: Viennese Waltz/Samba
Pamela: Quickstep/Samba
Gavin: Viennese Waltz/Charleston
Ann: AT/Jive
Scott: AT/Cha Cha

I am pretty certain that all couples will miss out at least 1 dance. They are due to do 2 next weekend plus the swingathon. They will all do 1 Ballroom & 1 Latin I presume. I guess it's possible they woud do 1 new dance in the final but certainly can't see them doing 2.

I am disappointed that couples will be missing out some of the traditional dances at the expense of the likes of the Charleston. Should they get to the semis next week I'd like Kara & Artem to do the VW & Rumba.

If they only have two dances left I definItely want Kara & Artem to do the Waltz and the Rumba.

The other couples I don't really care for, but with those hips Matt should at least do a salsa.
Ann shouldn't do any more dances period.

I understand that we will have a Widdy AT next week if she survives - as well as a Scott/Nat AT.

As far as I know Pamela and James won't have to do AT.

But WHY? Why do the producers suddenly think it's ok for the remaining couples to leave out dances?

I hope if Ann goes through this week she gets the jive next week, although I wouldn't put it past her to have had it written into her contract that she doesn't have to do it!

Or perhaps as Craig put it - there isn't a bra strong enough dahling.

I think that's extremely likely.

I'm sure Craig said yesterday on ITT that Ann will be doing these two dances as they can't find a bra strong enough for her to do the Jive

Which ever dance he'll do he won't make the final

Kara & Artem ~ Viennese Waltz / Rumba
I would love to see Kara do both of these dances. The Rumba I'm sure will be fantasic and the VW will be magical.

I don't care which dances Matt will do as I want Kara to win

Pamela & James ~ Quickstep / Samba
Out of all her dances Pamela has left these will be the two which would suit her best

Scott & Natalie ~ Foxtrot / Charleston

Really don't like it that they might not do all the dances. The whole point of Strictly is that the winner has mastered every dance. Even those that make the semi should have done all the dances. This is always the way it worked in the past, and I really don't know why they have changed it this year.

I don't really care much about the other couples (sorry!) but like someone else said, I would see it as a travesty if Kara didn't get to do the rumba, and at least one of the waltz/viennese waltz..I think all three of those dances could be absolutely stunning for her
