No. I thought it was nice and that, but her face at the start and the end... had a bit of a mini-sick.

I thought it was a beautiful dance and fit in perfectly with the theme of the film.

Nope. Giving it 40 means the judges rate it the best dance of the series so far.... Personally, for me, not so much! But what can you do?

Apologies for going all off-topic. Between Alesha and (bad sportsman) Matt it was quite a controversial night.

I've never been Pamela's biggest fan. Most weeks she irritates me immensely. But I adored her VW tonight. It blew me away. For the first time, I really felt the emotion between her and James.

Pamela & James' dancing moved me for the first time since their opening Waltz.
I thought it was dreamy and tender and graceful. I couldn't really fault it. But I'm not a huge fan of these two as individuals and I thought Pamela overplayed it at the end. So I wasn't tempted to vote for them or anything. Beautiful dance though, can't take that away from them. |

I thought it was good but not worth 40 and that Kara was much better.
Mind you before the dance even started the bit on the VT of the pottery scene from Ghost put me right off . That was very icky... and a 'please don't go there' moment as far as I was concerned and yes she did stumble in the dance. But it appears she can do no wrong as far as the judges are concerned, maybe its the faux sincere face and the hands in prayer attitude when they make their comments that they find so appealing. Altho' thankfully the hands thing seems to have stopped. She's good but she ain't a 40!

Utterly beautiful dance. I was teary-eyed by the end.

Pamela was brilliant and really deserved her maximum score! I don't understand why she isn't liked on here - good job it isn't the same in the wider world as the bookies can confirm.
Why could it not be that we just didn't think the dance was worth the score she received? I like Pamela and I really like her partnership with James, she suits his sarky cutting personality, but in my opinion that dance was barely worthy of 9s, let alone 10s. It had far less dance content than Kara, someone else said it had a trip, her neck disappeared into her shoulders and there was far too much faffing at beginning and end. |

It was a lovely dance. I really enjoyed it but I'm not sure I would have given it a 10. I thought the dance was worth 38 or 39. It wasn't a perfect 40.

Beautiful it was ... and even more so because I followed Tina Ballerina's betting tip of backing a perfect score at odds of 7/4! Get in.

Thought it sickly-sweet and a tad... boring. I saw the stumble and her neck disappear. I thought it hugely over-marked, and that was before I saw Kara's beautiful dance.

Too right, and to think she was priced at 50/1 at the start of the series to win it...
I just hope I'm moving with such grace when I hit 61! ![]() Comparing it to Kara and Artem, it was a conventional VW, while Kara's tango was a bit adventurous and some have called it a show dance. So on the grounds that I'm nearer to Pam in age and I liked the VW, I preferred Pam. But 40? Not sure about that. The scoring was weird all over. Gavin was no way as good as Len made out with his 9. |

I love them and I love Kara, I think they deserved the good marks and so would have Kara. If it means Pamela goes one week further than I'm very pleased. Her and Kara in the final (with Scott for me), would be great. I hope the Widdinator doesn't ruin my vision.
![]() Would have loved Kara to have gotten 40 as well tonight....I just hope that neither leave tonight...I could wholeheartedly say SCD has been ruined by The Mop for me if either go. |
