I'm a bit confussed as to how it all works, I placed and order on Thursday, I was told I would get it on Monday and that I would receive a text message once dispatched, So I received a text yesterday and a consignment number through DPD, I checked the number and it says

DELIVERY STATUS - AWAITING RECEIPT OF PARCEL

So I phoned Orange just now and the guy really confussed me or rather gave me the run around, he said without even checking my order, - "If you are receiving it on Monday it wont be dispatched until Monday" So do Orange do same day delivery or something?

I then said about the AWAITING RECEIPT OF PARCEL he said that changes over the weekend, but DPD don't work over the weekend,

Any ideas? My theory is I've just been given the run around

Not sure, but could have something to do with the severe weather some places are experiencing right now.
