Rebecca for gods sake
MOVE.....
You could have done an aretha and a hip swaying bopping gospel chorus then and killed it. Instead you played very safe. You cant win now, |

So basically you wanted Rebecca to moonwalk across the stage while singing amazing grace....ok.
Maybe you just have a short attention span? Rebecca to win!! |

No way. That was one of the best versions of that song I have ever heard. She looks beautifull too.

I agree - she could have done something instead of just standing there, but then again, she always does that and I guess she can't do anything else, or do two things at once.

Amazing Grace indeed - not just a show stopper, but a show saver. Pure class.

Best of the night by quite some margin.
Not a fan of that hymn but she sang it well. |

It was so good, I'm re-watching! She is by far the best singer in this competition, and if Cher Lloyd wins it's an obvious fix!

Rebecca can sing circles around the others. This obsession with movement that people have is just a bit odd.
I thought she has been a league ahead of the others tonight. They might shimmy and shake better but I defy any one of them to stand there and deliver like she has. |

Basically, to state the obvious, it's a hymn. You're sort of not supposed to put some hip hop beat on a hymn and start doing the robot half way through, to "spice it up a bit."

best performance for the night
I agree with previous comments- Rebecca was sensational last night, the best two songs. I wanted to listen to both of them again. As to dancing, there are enough "all-shake it shake it" singers out there, she is respected for being herself. Dancing and performing comes with a lot of practice. She will get her performing style eventually but it will be still hers.

Rebecca was head and shoulders above the rest last night in my opinion. Okay, so Cher is a better performer than her, but her vocal is dreadful. I would much rather pay money to see Rebecca stand still in concert and sing her heart out than pay to watch someone dance around on stage to a pre recorded track or dance around and sing like crap. Different strokes for different folks as they say.
