Didn't he also say her first song was the best performance of the show, it was the only performance, she was the first one on, what an idiot.

None of them do that much "Dancing".
It's more swaying to the music and walking round the stage.
Some artist dance ,some don't.
I can't see why it would matter.
I would have thought It's the voice that counts ,as it's a singing competition.”

I disagree it's the whole package singing , dancing , personality etc.

Does Matt dance, did Leona, Steve Brookstein, etc. Rebecca is not the type of artist who needs to dance, it doesn't suit her genre. If you like a bit of everything, that is OK, but many don't and love Rebecca because she can sing, and boy, can she sing.

She could at least have a little wander around the stage.

I think she has walked from the back of the stage to the front when the song starts. And yesterday she walked forward for quite a long time.

But it's not that she doesn't dance that sort of annoys me, it's that she literally does nothing. I get that she isn't that sort of performer, but how many times on previous series have the judges said to whichever acts they need to move more, be more diverse, show us a different side. I'm not doubting her voice, it's just imo she's too boring and not very watchable.

She has done that in the past and people didn't come on here saying "how amazing!" etc. Face it, some people do not like her for various reasons (the most common being that she occasionally steals the limelight from Matt Cardle) and they are looking for any reason to knock her. It used to be that she didn't do uptempo numbers but now that she's done those, it's the lack of movement in her performances. That's fine but it is what it is and it not objective criticism.

It just comes down to what people like. I think she deserves to be there, but I don't particularly like her and she does nothing for me, so I don't want her to win.

At the end of the day, as long as 1D don't win I'll be happy!

It genuinely does not bother me but then perhaps I am a lot older than you I don't go to many concerts these days, I just buy cds. I hope one will be Rebeccas.

So her moving around the stage more would make her a versatile singer how exactly does that make sense?
The fact that she has now proven she can sing up tempo and ballads proves shes versatile. She doesnt need to be able to dance too Adele and Leona etc.. dont dance around.

Also Matt said in his video diary that he doesnt like dancing round he prefers to just do ballads, so Rebecca isnt the only one...

That's fair enough Obviously not everyone is going to like all the same acts, and everyone likes them for different reasons.

I don't really go to many concerts either (I live a bit out of the way!) bit I'd love to hear Cher's CD - if she get's to make one!

That's just the reason why I don't particularly like her. I'm not saying what she is doing is wrong.

I didn't say that her moving around the stage would make her a more versatile singer. The points were seperated by commas, making them seperate points.

She doesn't have to .
The prize is a recording contract.
All that will come with time and confidence.
She as the best voice most distinctive for recording.
