Interesting how she was so dismissive of ballads tonight.

Funny that, I don't recall her having a problem with them when the judge's fell over themselves to praise "stay"

That of all the songs in the world, she chose a ballad as her "save me song"

That said ballad saved her bacon.

It may not be her primary genre but she shouldn't have been so dismissive, is "stay" the only ballad she can do?

It's an attempt to criticise Rebecca and everyone is going to see that - CHER MUST GO!

She's in the wrong business if she can't take criticism from Dannii Minogue.

Music journalists and other musicians would be much worse.

Dannii sugar coated the criticism which after LTWYL was more than justified.

WHAAAAAAAAAAAAT?

Where? When? How?

I thought Cher created the entire genre?

She's bringing Rap to "England" (Not the whole Uk, just England)

Not that she's anything like a poor rip off of Lady Sovereign who actually wrote her own music and broke into the business herself through talent.

Thats what annoyed me - that's what Dannii was saying - she wanted Cher to show another dimension which she did well with Stay.

Also was i the only one who thought that Chers vocals were really dodgy apart from the last few seconds, and that the Eminem rap was laughable?

Does Cher really think that rapping in songs is something she invented? "Twist on English music" Stupid cow.

Bet Cheryl was pissed after all her effort harping on about how lovely and sweet Cher is lol.

Singing isn't my style

Making up my own rap lyrics isn't my style.

Throwing tantrums, being cocky, warbling like a strangled cat and being a right little madam---that is my style

Shame her most popular song was clearly "Stay". So popular she was allowed to do it twice, in fact.

I think Cher was right to say she wants to stick with what she is most comfortable with and what she aims to be as an artiste. She has proven she can do a ballad and now it's time to showcase what people liked about her in the first place and what they can expect from her in the future with maybe the occasional ballad.

The Vocals were all wrong.

Its a cold song, about a woman being beaten up and being unable to bring herself to leave. Cher sung it like a Whitney song throwing nots all over the place and for me it was all wrong.

And yes, the "Rap" thankfully ended quickly. She managed to gloss over her poor Jay Z rapping, but Eminem just can't be touched. Cher proved that tonight.

Because it will show that really, sadly, she cannot sing, and I hate to say this, but its becoming obvious even to me, who has supported her by phoning in I might add!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Try again when you have grown up

You're missing the point, it wasn't really WHAT she said, rather, HOW she said it. Abnoxious and rude.

As someone who likes the way she sings normally, that was really disappointing/off-putting to hear. I blame her mentor for not copping her on. Cheryl was the absolute worst mentor she could have had.

She was sooo pathetic? Her best performance was "stat" which was a ballad yet she doesn't do ballads???

I'm not missing the point at all.

You see what you want to see and I see a girl who was a bit mystified as to why Danni said what she said.

Didn't get that comment either. She's quick to welcome the praise about singing a ballad when it suits her.

I am sick and tired of the over the top praise she gets - she is the typical all style and no substance nonsense that inundates the singles charts. there is nothing original about her - the rap is crap - and her vocals are whiny and nasally.

I have not met many people yet who actually like her - they tried the "but it's a stage attitude" line tonight - tosh if you ask me - just look at her demenour on stage when others are being praised - and god she cannot take criticism at all.

A little madam who deserves the boot.

I am not a Cheryl hater in fact I like her but I agree with this. Cheryl is too supportive - she needs someone who will call her on her bad behaviour

Of course it is. That's obvious. She's as jealous as h*** of Rebecca and she just can't help herself.

Yeah, maybe you're right, only because she was so rubbish at both of her songs tonight (oh, I forgot, and everything else I've ever heard her attempt to sing) and hopefully it will mean she's voted off so I don't have to see or hear her next week and please, never in the future!

I'll be honest and say I did actually like her first audition because it was a bit different, but the more I've seen and heard her she leaves me cold. Her attitude stinks.

I agree with a couple of posters on here in that I think it is her way of taking a swipe at Rebecca. I also agree that Cheryl has mollycoddled her far too much, if Cher wants to be a success she needs to be able to take criticism without giving such an attitude back. She needs to realise that not everyone is going to tell her how wonderful she is.

Reading it like that has me thinking, do you think Cheryl has told her to answer back.

After public spats with Lily Allen and Charlotte Church (Two vastly more talented woman than Cheryl could ever dream of being) Cheryl is still ultra-successful, so being rude publicly hasn't harmed her in anyway.
